The Montreal Sexpos Hard-Hit by the Vixens
On Saturday, the Sexpos left Jean-Marc Lalonde Arena disappointed after losing a hard-hitting game against Rideau Valley’s Vixens, with a final score of 337-64. When asked if he had been expecting such a big win, Coach Adam from the Vixens asserted that his players were mentally prepared for the bout and at ease in their venue, on their track. Montreal, on the other hand, seemed shaken by the defeat. The last time they met up with the Vixens two years earlier, they had won by 4 points.

Ready for a roller derby road trip? Montreal’s B travel team, the Sexpos, is hitting the road again for their second game of the season, happening in Ontario on Saturday, March 2. They’ll be taking on Rideau Valley Roller Girl’s Vixens! We spoke with Gabe Astard, Sexpos coach and MTLRD president, to find out what we can expect from our sexy girls in blue and red.

2013 promises to be an interesting year filled with lots of challenges for the Sexpos.
Despite the loss of great warriors (Beats per Minute, Killer Kozac, Sparkle n’ Maim) and the transfer of Surgical Strike and Assassinista to the Skids, the team coached by Gabe Astard for a fourth consecutive year remains solid with several veterans on board and new talent among the ranks. Sexpos fans will be happy to see join the team Ninja Simone, That’s What She Said, and Trash N’ Smash who have decided to return to their first love.
