Friday February the 15th, the New Skids On The Block officially opened their roller derby season at the Taz taking on the Tri-City Thunder.

In the last year, Tri-City have lost some key veteran players. “It allowed several players to shine and to prove themselves capable” the team said after the bout. On November 26th, the Montreal Roller Derby League threw its end of season bash 50s style. It was also time to welcome all our rookies and transfers.

The winners of the MTLRD Awards were revealed that night, some voted by the league, some voted by the fans.
